Prior to our first session, we will conduct a brief phone conversation lasting approximately 30-60 minutes for an initial evaluation. Rest assured, all information shared will be handled with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
The cost of the appointment charged by the CAPA are to cover the operating expenses of the organisation. Most services are offered voluntarily by members of the CAPA. Although we receive contributions from ABRISA and the Spiritist Center that contribute to the continuity of our services, the CAPA is still operating in deficit. Your financial or business collaboration is very welcome to continue to provide our services to the Portuguese-speaking community in Melbourne, Australia.
Appointments are available online and in East Melbourne. The address will be provided after the first phone call.
We do not provide emergency services. If you have an urgent psychological or psychiatric problem, call 000 or show up at any public hospital with 24-hour care. The public psychiatric / psychiatric screening hospital service is available to anyone regardless of their visa in Australia.
